So this week has been flying by and I honestly cannot believe its already Thursday! Not a lot has happened as far as classes go, except i do have a large amount of italian homework haha
Bus aside from classes, this city is sooo busy that my roommates and I rarely find ourselves in our apartment! Last night we all got dressed up and went to a dinner that the school held for us. We walked from the school to the dinner which ended up being right on the Arno River. It was sooo beautiful! The best part about it was that it happened to be the exact place that we couldnt get to when we were watching the lantern ceremony! We met new Chapman friends!!! So that was exciting and we sat with them for dinner. It was kind of a buffet style and there were plenty of things on our plates that we couldnt identify. But thats all part of experiencing the italian culture haha We all sat around talking and taking pictures after dinner, and then walked to the Ponte Vecchio. There was a street guitarist playing music and he sang in French, Italian, and English haha. It was such a cool night and so surreal. I think the pictures will say it better than I can. So I will put them up as soon as I get a chance!
